Dengan tema “Ekspresikan Jazz dalam Musikmu”, Jazz Music Community (JMC) mempersembahkan sebuah rangkaian konser selama 2 hari sebagai pengantar Jogja Jazz Festival pada periode selanjutnya. Event ini menyajikan performance berkonsep plural guna merangkum bermacam-macam ekspresi dalam menyikapi irama jazz. Pesta Jazz tidak hanya mementaskan musisi dari kalangan jazz, tapi juga band-band independen lokal yang mengusung berbagai genre musik seperti: metal, indie, reggae, gospel, dsb. Melalui keragaman ini, JMC ingin mengajak audience menuju apresiasi terhadap aneka eksplorasi ritme jazz yang dileburkan oleh crossover secara avant-garde maupun konvensional. Let your rhythm be driven by jazz, let jazz be driven by your rhytm.
